Popular Forms of Maa Kali Murti

Dakshina Kali is the form widely worshipped in homes and temples, shown with a garland and a standing posture. Bhadrakali and Mahakali are shown in powerful, fierce forms. Some designs show Maa Kali standing over Shiv ji, a symbolic composition. Names and iconography vary by region, so tell us the form your family follows.

Black Marble or White Marble?

Black marble gives a striking, traditional look that suits Maa Kali’s dark form. White marble with painted detailing is also chosen, especially when the colour scheme follows a family practice. If you want a particular colour, mention it before production.

Home Worship Notes

Traditions for worshipping Kali at home differ between families and communities. Some families keep a Kali murti in the home mandir and others worship her mainly at temples or on specific occasions. Size and Detailing
